Kirloskar Brothers introduces new series of borewell submersible pumps

Indian pump manufacturer, Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL) has launched new series of borewell submersible pumps, the NEO Series 4-in, which has been designed for rural, domestic and community water supply markets, including farming, buildings and construction sectors.

The NEO Series 4-in borewell submersible pumps have a Sand Fighter arrangement, that restricts the entry of sand and protects the pump-set brushes in sandy borewells. They also have anadvanced water-cooled motor which ensures 30% higher discharge and 60% more life and energy-saving (60% savings on electricity). The new range also offers better corrosion resistance and better pump and motor alignment.

The pumps can work in adverse conditions with their extra overloading capacity and the compact, easy-to-repair design features include a carbon plus stainless-steel thrust plate, and FG200 graded casting with cathodic electro deposition (CED) coating makes it corrosion-resistant.

This new series has NEMA couplings and the high torque motor offers wide voltage range from 180– 240 volts, which protects the motor from burning due to high or low voltage. The dynamically balanced rotating part ensures lesser vibrations.
