KSB wins major pump order from Saudi Arabia

The oil-fired YANBU 3 power station includes a seawater desalination plant.

From 2017, the power station will generate more than 2700 MW of electricity. The associated seawater desalination plant, which will make use of the power station’s electricity and accumulated steam, will provide 550 000 cubic metres of drinking water per day.

KSB will manufacture the pumps at its factory in Frankenthal.
