MAXIMIZE SAND RECOVERY AND REDUCE POND CLEANOUTS WITH NEW SCAVENGER WASH CIRCUIT

Morris, Minn. – Superior Industries, Inc., a US-based manufacturer and global supplier of bulk material processing and handling systems, announces the completion of engineering and the immediate availability of the Scavenger Wash Circuit. This unique system is designed to help producers recover valuable sand particles lost during the washing of fine materials, boosting profitability while reducing waste.

This predesigned cyclone, sump, and pump package works in combination with a Fine Material Screw Washer. The Scavenger Wash Circuit captures fine materials in the 50-200 mesh range that can overflow the weirs and end up in waste ponds. That sand is captured by the circuit and redirected into profitable product piles.

“Unfortunately, many sand producers experience material loss at the back end of their screw and don’t even know it,” says Brett Casanova, the washing product manager at Superior Industries. “The Scavenger Wash Circuit helps producers recover tons of fine material, returning it to their stockpile for sale while reducing the frequency of pond cleanouts and eliminating the need for expensive standalone recovery systems.”

Key Benefits of the Scavenger Wash Circuit include:

  • Recover Lost Material: Capture fine material lost to the back end of your screw and return it to the saleable stockpile.
  • No Standalone Recovery System: Eliminate the need for costly (and sometimes complicated) standalone ultrafines recovery systems.
  • Less Pond Cleanouts: Recover tons of valuable material before it reaches your waste ponds, reducing the need for cleanouts.

Moreover, the Scavenger Wash Circuit is designed to integrate seamlessly with any brand of fine sand screw, making it a versatile solution for all producers.
