Outotec completes divestment of certain sludge incineration technologies

Finland-headed Outotec Oyj, an integrated mining technologies and services provider for the full value chain from ore to metals including water management, energy recovery as well as waste and side streams, has announced that it has completed the divestment of certain sludge incineration technologies.

Following the announcement in December 2019, to divest three businesses from its Metals, Energy, and Water segment’s portfolio, Outotec has concluded an agreement to sell certain municipal and industrial sludge incineration plant technologies to Küttner Martin Technology Gmbh, based in Munich, Germany.

The transaction entails technology and references. The parties have agreed not to disclose the value of the transaction.

Küttner Martin Technology was founded under the joint leadership of Küttner Holding GmbH & Co. KG and MARTIN GmbH für Umwelt- und Energietechnik. Each company holds a 50 percent share of the company, which specializes in the sale and construction of plants for the thermal treatment of municipal sewage sludge.
