Pfeiffer introduces mobile leak detectors

German vacuum pump manufacturer, Pfeiffer Vacuum, has released two mobile leak detectors, which have been adapted for the semiconductor and display industries.

The ASM 390 and the ASM 392 are designed for demanding applications where high sensitivity is important. Both models are SEMI S2 compliant, which denotes their conformity with industry safety guidelines.

The leak detectors are fitted with a dry frictionless backing pump and a powerful high vacuum pump, making them suitable for leak testing of various components in clean environments. The ASM 392 is also equipped with an additional turbopump, which speeds up the leak detection process and reduces downtime.

The ASM 390 and ASM 392 have a secondary handle at the front, a fully rotatable, removable display, an inlet for easy connection to test ports and manoeuvrability for access to all testing areas. A wide, clear colour touch panel display, an integrated toolbox with modular compartments and storage space for vacuum bellows all make for efficient leak detection.
